Agnetha is better known because she was a member of ABBA and not as a single singer from Sweden. ABBA was one of the biggest pop groups of all-time as well as globally. The singer quit school to pursue music at 15 and soon earned a following. She secured a recording deal through Enghardt and her debut album topped the Swedish charts. She became engaged and later wed Bjorn Ulvaeus and was a part of the group the group 'ABBA'. ABBA was to become one of the most popular music groups around the globe throughout the following 8 years. They received numerous awards, including gold and platinum around the world. In the years following ABBA was released, she had three albums, namely 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' as well as 'Eyes Of A Woman as well as 'I Stand Alone'. Each having enjoyed great acclaim in Sweden and gained acclaim throughout Europe as well but was never able to make an impact in the U.S. The '80s ended and she entered into an official retirement. ABBA was featured in the jukebox program 'Mamma Mia! '. The singer came out of her retirement to release 'My Coloring Book', which reached 11 in the U.K. chart.
