Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actress best known as Missandei in HBO's massive adventure "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel, who was born and lived in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's famous seaside town She has always been interested in performing. She was noticed by her mother as she grew older, and by the time Nathalie was just three years old, parents signed her up for acting, singing and dancing classes. Emmanuel developed quickly as a actor and, by the end of her 90s, she was playing young Nala in"The Lion King," a West End production of the highly acclaimed show "The The Lion King." Emmanuel began auditioning as a young teenager for film and TV roles. The actress got her first major break in 2007 when she began playing Sasha Valentine on the British soap-opera "Hollyoaks" (Channel 4 in 1995- ). Emmanuel performed the role for four years, eventually dropping the show in 2010. Emmanuel was given her big break in HBO "Game of Thrones" the following year, playing the character of Missandei. This character will be the voice of Daenerys the Targaryen role (portrayed by Emilia Clarke).
