Michele Carey, also known as Michele Lee Henson, is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, who was a doctor as well as Thelma Burell Henson. Her birthplace was in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America, on the 26th of February 1942. In her teens, Michele was an accomplished pianist. At the age of thirteen she won a contest at the Chicago Music Festival. The family moved to Fort Collins in Colorado, and she completed her high school education in Fort Collins High School in 1960.
